Donald Trump says he believes former chief of staff John Kelly is behind claims he called dead troop
Donald Trump attacked former White House chief of staff Gen. John Kelly,
whom he said 'didn't do a good job' and said Kelly 'could have' been
the source for a story that he called dead troops 'losers.' Trump
vigorously denied the report in the Atlantic, a magazine he attacked as
'second-rate.' He said Kelly was 'exhausted' by the job. Kelly
ultimately went on the trip to a historic cemetery in 2018 when Trump
stayed behind. The White House said the decision was required by a
Marine One 'bad weather call.' Trump also said the traffic in Paris
'would have taken us forever.'
